We Can't Outgive God

The generous soul will be made rich.   Proverbs 11:25

The Bible teaches that blessings follow those who give liberally. Proverbs 11:25 says, "The generous soul will be made rich, and he who waters will also be watered himself."
I've heard countless testimonies from men and women who were afraid to put to the test God's promise to bless those who are generous. They feared they would not have enough. Then, when at last they decided to tithe ( to give a tenth of their income ) in accordance with the Bible's standard, they began to prosper. They discovered what countles others have know across the ages: You can't outgive God.
What keeps you from being more generous in supporting God's work? Selfishness? Fear? Insecurity? Even a sinful habit you would rather support? Whatever the reason, repent of it and discover the blessedness of generosity. Remember: "God loves a cheerful giver" (2 Cor.9:7).

When I read this it reminded me of my sister Mary Kate and her husband Kaith. They had served God so much. They have been a cheerful giver. Now God has blessed them with a brang new home and more.

Diaper Man :)

Yesterday we moved his room around. He got an extra dresser... By his bed he has his little stand where his diapers are. This morning I went to check on him he was fine.He was still sleeping. Ten minutes later I went to see if he was up  but this is what I found. He got to play a little :) He reached to his little stand and got most of his diapers and put them in his bed. It made me smile because he hasen't done that before. This afternoon we found some more under his bed. I like how he put them in two diffrent corners.

The Living Christ

It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me.  Galatians 2:20

Jesus Christ was crucified between two thieves on a rugged cross on Calvary, just outside Jerusalem. Think of it: The very  Son of God came down from Heaven and "humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross" (Phil 2:8).
Jesus gave His head to the crown of thorns for us. He gave His face to the human spittle for us. He gave His cheeks and His beard to be plucked out for us. He gave His hands and feet to the spikes for us. He gave His blood for us. Jesus Christ, dying in our place, taking our sins on that cross, is God's love in action.
But that's not the end of the story. He rose again, and He is the living Christ. If Christ is not alive, there is no hope for any of us. But He is alive! And because He is, "he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them" (Heb.7:25 NIV). Hallelujah!

My Miracle Brother

This is his first time taking a real bath. This is how skinny he was. In this picture he is 5 years old.
 He loved my Mom's suitcase.
His first summer with us and his first time in the pool.
He was geting ready to go on a walk.
Andrew is from Bulgaria. We adopted him and Gracie together. I got to travel to Bulgaria with my parents.God provided that trip and I am thankful that he did. This Bulgaria trip is very special to me. God has brought Andrew in to our family. I thank God for bringing him here. Even though Andrew is strong willed boy ,he has taught me alot. I am sure my family too. He taught me how to care about other people. He even brought me closer to God. When we met Andrew he didn't even weigh 19 pounds. He was so skinny he could have almost died. You could see his bones. He did not talk or eat like we all eat with a spoon and a fork. Back in Bulgaria he slapped himself  and yelled alot. He drinked 2 to 3 bottles a day. Sometimes it was only 1 to 2. They were starving him slowly. He was alive because of his strong willed side. Now Andrew is eating table food. He does not slap himself. He weighs 35 to 36 pounds and walks too. He has changed so much. God has worked in his life and I know he still will. It is a miracle what God has done in his life.

Gracie - My Bulgarian Beloved Sister

I was looking through pictures and I saw Gracie's pictures from Bulgaria. I was looking at them and just saw how much she has changed. In Bulgaria when we went to pick her up she was so happy to leave. I can't  even believe it. In the hotel where we stayed she did not talk so it was a little hard to communicate with her. Gracie  was only 35pounds when she was 6 years old. She didn't  use the bathroom. She was wearing pullups. Gracie has changed alot. She says, " Mama, Papa, Leah and God". She just learned how to say God. She knows who created her. She has been learning her numbers. She knows 1 threw 10. She goes by herself to the bathroom now. Gracie weighs 56pounds now. God has worked in her life and changed her so much. Thank you Jesus for my sister Gracie.
