God Is Our Strength
The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? Psalm 27:1
It is a fact that the Lord is my light and my salvation. So why should I be afraid? Since the Lord fears nothing, why should we fear?
The Scripture also declares that God is a "very present help in trouble" (Ps. 46:1). If we can't trust the all-powerful, all-knowing, all-loving God of the universe to help us, where can we turn? But we can trust Him!
God is able, indeed He is anxious, to deliver us from all sorts of trouble. He wants to give us strength to overcome the temptation to sin that separates Him from those He loves. He wants to give us the courage to confront our problems (instead of avoiding them or denying them) , and then to find the practical wisdom and help we need to deal with them.
What do you fear today? Failure? Rejection? An illness or physical danger? The uncertainty of the future? Whatever it is, ask God to help you turn it over to Him. "The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?"

Andrew is going to play soccer now :)
Last night Andrew had a blast. We took him outside to play for a little. It was so nice that we stayed there more then we thought. This is his first time kicking and playing with a soccer ball. He loved to stand on it. Then we kick the ball. There is one picture of him standing on the ball. I loved seeing something new that he liked.

Everlasting Love
I have loved you with an everlasting love;therefore with loving kindness I have drawn you. Jeremiah 31:3
Who can describe or measure the love of God? Our Bible is a revelation of the fact that God is love. When we preach justice, it is justice tempered with love. When we preach righteousness, it is righteousness found on love. When we preach atonement for sin, it is atonement necessitated because of love, provided by love, finished by love.
When we preach the resurrection of Christ, we are preaching the miracle of love. When we preach the abiding presence of Christ, we are preaching the power of love. When we preach the return of Christ, we are preaching the fulfillment of love.
No matter what sin w have committed, no matter how black, dirty, shameful, or terrible it may be, God loves us. We may be at the very gate of hell itself, But God loves us with an everlasting love. The proof? Jesus Christ, God's only Son, went to the Cross for us. " For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16).

I have a prayer request
My sister Jenn is going to have a baby tonight or tomorrow morning. Would you please pray for her that everything will go well? She is going in at 9 tonight. My Mom went down to N.C to help her. I am so excited to meet my little niece Zoe. I can't believe there will be another little girl in this world. God is so good.
I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. John 14:18
I do my devotions in the morning. This is what I read this morning. I really like this verse. Because I was an orphan. It was really hard for me to wait for a family. But the family did come in the right time. He has answered my prayers. Now I have the best family I ever could have. Thank you Jesus.

She would be there all day if we didn't kick her out. You know kids they find there favorite thing then they sit their for a while and do it.
