Live for the Lord

My days are swifter than a weaver's shuttle. Job 7:6

Job says that his days are "swifter than a weaver's shuttle."  Life passes so quickly it is almost over before we realize it. The Bible says this is the chronology of eternity. Though you live to be seventy, eighty' or ninety years old, that is but a snap of the finger compared to eternity.
Put your hand on your heart and feel it beat. It is saying, "Quick! Quick! Quick!" We have only a few brief years at the most. Let's live them for the Lord.

Mady's first ponytail :)

This is how Mady came over to our house one of the days. This is her first ponytail. Doesn't she looks adorable?  Mady has brought so much love to our family. Everyone are so good with her. Loving her and playing with her. I just can't believe it.

What is Andrew doing?

Just look what Andrew has been doing. He has been trying to walk all by himself. I  can't even believe it.  He has been doing great. I so wish to go back to Bulgaria and show them how much he has changed. Those people don't understand how much they can change one life at a time. If only they don't leave those children in a crib 24/7. If only they feed them more than 2 to 3 battles a day. If only they can provide medical care for those kids. If only they took them out outside. If only they showed love to those kids.
This is what happened to my little brother Andrew and more. I hope those people see their kids from their orphanage and see how much they have been changed and will.
It has been amazing to see how God worked in this little boy's life and will. I can't wait to see what else God will bring to us. Thank you Jesus

Walk with God

My eyes shall be on the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me.   Psalm 101:6

Walk with God as Noah did; when the flood came, Noah was saved amidst the scorn and rejection of his neighbors. Walk with God as Moses did in the solitude of the desert; when the hour of judgment fell upon Egypt, Moses was prepared to lead his people to victory.
Walk with God as David did as a shepherd boy; when he was called to rule his people, he was prepared for the task of kingship.
Walk with God as Daniel and his three young friends did in the palace of Babylon's king; when the fiery furnace and the lion's den came, God was beside them and delivered them.
No, God didn't always deliver His saints from adversity or even death, nor does He today. But because they had learned to trust Him in the light, they were prepared to follow Him in the darkness.
God has not promised to deliver us from trouble, but He has promised to go with through the trouble. "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me" ( Ps. 23:4)

I heard this song today from Michael W. Smith. I really liked it. If you are going through hard times trust in are Lord that he will help you. I believe that the help is on our way. Believe and trust that is all it takes.

How incredibly great is his power to help those who believe him...the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead!  Ephesians 1:20
Just as Christ was raised from the dead...we too may live a new life. Romans 6:4

Coloring eggs and making deviled eggs :)

Today we have been cooking and coloring eggs for tomorrow. My Mom and I made deviled eggs. Everyone here loves eating them so we made plenty for everyone. The recipe will be at the bottom.  We all enjoyed coloring eggs. As you can tell they all look great. Most of them were made by little ones. Here is the recipe.

12 hard-cooked eggs
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
1/2 teaspoon minced chives
1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
1/2 teaspoon dill weed
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons milk
Fresh parsley
Additional paprika

Slice eggs in half lengthwise; remove yolks and set whites aside. In a small bowl, mash yolks. Add the next 10 ingredients; mix well. Evenly fill the whites. Garnish with parsley and paprika.

Good Friday

Tonight we all  went to Independent Bible Church to see Easter Celebration. It was great. Everyone who played in it did a great job.  They even had a really donkey in it. Today is a Good Friday. Today when they put Jesus Christ on the cross. Today when he promised that he will be rose again in 3 days.  In John 2:19 says Jesus answered them, "Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days." This is one of the verses Pastor shared.  I like this verse because he did rose again and that is why we celebrate Easter. Easter is not only about bunny's, candy's and hiding eggs.  The most importing is that my Jesus is Alive. Our Jesus. Take your time this weekend to thank Jesus for his death on the cross.

This is the card that shows all the information.

My newest siblings

These are my new siblings. I can't wait till they came home. God has blessed us with these kiddos. I am so excited to see them here with us as a family. We have been faithfully waiting for them to come to our home. I trust in the Lord that  it will be really soon. I have 10 brothers and 9 sisters that are home now. With this three it would be 11 boys and 12 girls all together 23 at home, add mom and dad 25. Then if you count all my sisters that have moved from home it would be 29. I try to convince mom and dad to adopt 1 more to make an even number. :)

First picture is the three of them. Stephen, Annabel and Stella
Second is Stephen is in the button short and Annabel in the pink dress.
Third one is only Annabel in the middle.

There are so many kids that need a family to love on. God has brought precious children to this earth for a reason but first they need a family to show them love . Then pray about it and see if God wants you to go head and adopt. You won't regret.

Patience and Prayer

We...do not cease to pray for you.   Colossians 1:9

Some years ago, a woman wrote me that she had pleaded for ten years for the conversion of her husband, but that he was more hardened than ever. I advised her to continue to plead. Sometime later I heard from her again. She said her husband was gloriously and miraculously converted in the eleventh year of her prayer vigil. How thankful she was that she had kept on praying!
The Scripture says "Pray without ceasing" (1 Thess. 5:17). This should be the motto of every true follower of Jesus Christ. Never stop praying, no matter how dark and hopeless your case may seem. Your responsibility isn't to tell God when He must act or even how He must act. Your responsibility is simply to "pray without ceasing," trusting Him to act according to His perfect will.

When I was in Ukraine before my parents adopted me. I saw allot of kids being adopted but not me. I asked God why? Why not me? From that day I have prayed for a long time God would you give me a family.Couple of years when by nothing happened. Listen to this I did not gave up on praying. I prayed and prayed and God has answered my prayer. A family came to my orphanage to pick someone and it was me. I was so happy. I thanked God for all those years he had me waiting for a prefect family. Like this Devotion says " never give up on praying."  He will answered your prayers not when you wanted but in the write time.

Today we are having lots of rain. It is still raining. We just opened our 2nd pool. Just look how full it got from all this rain. We all love watching Little House on the Prairie. Since Mya and Luke can't move around or play much. We all got together and watched Little House on the Prairie.

They are doing great :)

Little updated....Mom, Dad, Luke and Mya got home this afternoon. Mya and Luke are doing well. Mya even walked up the stares to the room. She is the one who had bigger surgery. She has surprised us. Would you pray for my Mom, Dad and Mya that they would have a good night. Mya is sleeping in their room tonight. Hopefully they do have a good night. Luke wanted to sleep in his room tonight. I tell you he is one little brave kid. Thanks for all your prayers.

Would you pray for Mya and Luke?

[031.JPG]
This is Mya and Luke. Today they are having leg surgery. They need some prayers. Luke is having removed something from his knees. Luke had that on his knees for almost 3 years. It helped him walk much better. Mya is getting what Luke had. Hopefully that would help her walk better. If you know Mya she hopes alot. Hopefully that would stop her from hoping. She is adorable little girl.  Mya surgery is at 9 and Lukes at 9:30. Would you left them up in your prayers through out this day. Thanks

Hair cuts and new glasses :)

Yesterday our friend Jenny cut every one's hair. She offered to come to our house and do it. Thanks Jenny! All 7 girls got it cut. Most of them got a trim. Gracie and I got it more cut down. She cut 8 inches of my hair. I always love my hair short. It is  easier to deal with. Gracie got hers cut like usually. We all love her hair short.
Finally Gracie got new glasses. Her glasses were getting old and didn't look good. I love her new glasses. Don't they look cute on her? They are light purple with hearts on the sides. You can guess who picked them? Our big girl Gracie :)

Andrew and his big red dog

We have been reading books to Andrew every night. His favorite books are "Clifford the big red dog". Some of the nights he had gone to sleep.  I am so happy that something he has liked. Like his books.

Risen and Returning

This same Jesus...will so come in like manner as you saw Him go.     Acts 1:11

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the key to God's plan for the future. Unless Christ was raised from the dead, there can be no future kingdom and no returning King. Unless Christ was raised from the dead, sin and death still reign, and God's plan of redemption remains unfulfilled. But Christ has been raised!
As the disciples stood waching after Jesus ascended into the heavens, the angels assured them that the risen Christ would someday be the returning Christ. "Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven" (Acts 1:11).
Just as surely as Christ rose from the dead, so He will return and take us to Himself. Every promise-without exception-will be fulfilled.

Gracie and her lost tooth

Before
After
 .
Gracie has finally lost another tooth. Her tooth has been lose for a very long time. The cup she is holding has her tooth. She was happy to see her tooth. She was running around the room and just smiling. She looked so happy. My little sister is turning out to be a big sister.

We Can't Outgive God

The generous soul will be made rich.   Proverbs 11:25

The Bible teaches that blessings follow those who give liberally. Proverbs 11:25 says, "The generous soul will be made rich, and he who waters will also be watered himself."
I've heard countless testimonies from men and women who were afraid to put to the test God's promise to bless those who are generous. They feared they would not have enough. Then, when at last they decided to tithe ( to give a tenth of their income ) in accordance with the Bible's standard, they began to prosper. They discovered what countles others have know across the ages: You can't outgive God.
What keeps you from being more generous in supporting God's work? Selfishness? Fear? Insecurity? Even a sinful habit you would rather support? Whatever the reason, repent of it and discover the blessedness of generosity. Remember: "God loves a cheerful giver" (2 Cor.9:7).

When I read this it reminded me of my sister Mary Kate and her husband Kaith. They had served God so much. They have been a cheerful giver. Now God has blessed them with a brang new home and more.

Diaper Man :)

Yesterday we moved his room around. He got an extra dresser... By his bed he has his little stand where his diapers are. This morning I went to check on him he was fine.He was still sleeping. Ten minutes later I went to see if he was up  but this is what I found. He got to play a little :) He reached to his little stand and got most of his diapers and put them in his bed. It made me smile because he hasen't done that before. This afternoon we found some more under his bed. I like how he put them in two diffrent corners.

The Living Christ

It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me.  Galatians 2:20

Jesus Christ was crucified between two thieves on a rugged cross on Calvary, just outside Jerusalem. Think of it: The very  Son of God came down from Heaven and "humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross" (Phil 2:8).
Jesus gave His head to the crown of thorns for us. He gave His face to the human spittle for us. He gave His cheeks and His beard to be plucked out for us. He gave His hands and feet to the spikes for us. He gave His blood for us. Jesus Christ, dying in our place, taking our sins on that cross, is God's love in action.
But that's not the end of the story. He rose again, and He is the living Christ. If Christ is not alive, there is no hope for any of us. But He is alive! And because He is, "he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them" (Heb.7:25 NIV). Hallelujah!

My Miracle Brother

This is his first time taking a real bath. This is how skinny he was. In this picture he is 5 years old.
 He loved my Mom's suitcase.
His first summer with us and his first time in the pool.
He was geting ready to go on a walk.
Andrew is from Bulgaria. We adopted him and Gracie together. I got to travel to Bulgaria with my parents.God provided that trip and I am thankful that he did. This Bulgaria trip is very special to me. God has brought Andrew in to our family. I thank God for bringing him here. Even though Andrew is strong willed boy ,he has taught me alot. I am sure my family too. He taught me how to care about other people. He even brought me closer to God. When we met Andrew he didn't even weigh 19 pounds. He was so skinny he could have almost died. You could see his bones. He did not talk or eat like we all eat with a spoon and a fork. Back in Bulgaria he slapped himself  and yelled alot. He drinked 2 to 3 bottles a day. Sometimes it was only 1 to 2. They were starving him slowly. He was alive because of his strong willed side. Now Andrew is eating table food. He does not slap himself. He weighs 35 to 36 pounds and walks too. He has changed so much. God has worked in his life and I know he still will. It is a miracle what God has done in his life.

Gracie - My Bulgarian Beloved Sister

I was looking through pictures and I saw Gracie's pictures from Bulgaria. I was looking at them and just saw how much she has changed. In Bulgaria when we went to pick her up she was so happy to leave. I can't  even believe it. In the hotel where we stayed she did not talk so it was a little hard to communicate with her. Gracie  was only 35pounds when she was 6 years old. She didn't  use the bathroom. She was wearing pullups. Gracie has changed alot. She says, " Mama, Papa, Leah and God". She just learned how to say God. She knows who created her. She has been learning her numbers. She knows 1 threw 10. She goes by herself to the bathroom now. Gracie weighs 56pounds now. God has worked in her life and changed her so much. Thank you Jesus for my sister Gracie.
