Andrew loves the pool

Look at Andrew he is loving the pool. He keeps amazing me. He is coming along so well. I love seeing him being different. I know we will have a blast this summer.

Donuts and a movie night

Tonight my Mom gave us an idea to get donuts and watch a movie. Everyone thought it was good idea and that is what we did. Now we are watching The Family Man after eating this donuts.

Went swimming :)

Sari,Judah and Jesse loved the pool. They had so much fun. They love the big pool especially. They would go in with out the arm-bands. I just love these three little siblings that we adopted!

They made it home

They made it home. My parents and my newest sister and brothers came home this morning. They did great in the airplane and on the ride home. The are so adorable and sweet. Selah's sister looks so tall and grown up. I could not believe it. The boys are little and smart. You can see they are coming along so well. They got to play outside for a little bit and loved to ride the bikes they are on. God has brought us all together again.  Thank you.

Today my friend Mary and her husband Peter came to visit us. They live in Boston so it was a blessing to have them in our home for a little while. Yes, Mary and Peter got to see the new ones for the first time. So it was awesome. Mary and Peter thanks for coming by. I love you both!

I have been so thankful for Mary Kate and Keith. If it was not them I don't know if my parents would have adopted this three. Their are the ones who is staying with us this weekend. We had so much fun with them. They even bought pizza and wings for dinner and coke to drink. The kids felt really spacial. I am so thankful for you both. Thank you and I love you

Why are they so happy?

Tonight my parents and my newest sister and brothers are coming home. They all had left already from Ghana to come home. Tomorrow morning some of us will meet them at the airport to bring them home. As you can see all of us are really happy to.  We are all sooooo excited to see them all. Thank you Jesus for everything.

Couple of days ego I took Gracie out on a date. I took her on a date because I was so proud of her and her school work. She has been doing so well. You can even see it for yourself. Gracie has changed so much since she has been here. I love that girl and always will. Good job Gracie

Religion or Devotion?

I love this video. My pastor at church last night showed it to us and I had to ask who this video was by. We need to do so much on this earth. There are so many kids that are dying. There are so many teenagers that are drinking just messing up their life. There are so many marriages that are broken. We need to change this world and be changed by it. We need to share the good news of Jesus. We need to be his disciples. If you don't change alot of people, I know you can change atleast one person.

Great News

Thank you for all the prayers. We are doing a happy dance here in WV. We just heard the good news from Carla. We can pick our visa prints tomorrow. Thank you for all the prayers and thank you Jesus.

Highlights of our Mothers Day

Here are some highlights of our Mothers day. We got our garden finished :) We actually did it differently this year.We all like it. As you can see we finished our deck too. We all love the new deck. I know this deck will be used alot. There is a picture of a pot that Jonas made for Mom. He actually made the whole thing by himself. Everybody made this Briggs flag.It has all the kids hand prints and under their hand their name is written. We all had a wonderful Mothers Day and I hope you did too.

Today is Mothers Day and I have been soooooooooo blessed to have my Mom. She has giving me a life like no one else would. Here are some things I love about my Mom.

I love the way she loves God
I love her heart for children not just children but special needs children
I love the way she disciplines
I love the way she talks about our family to other people
I love her faith
I love the way she plays and spends her time with the kids
I love the way she welcomes every child that God has led into our family
I love her cooking
Mom there are so many things I love about you. I thank God for bringing you into my life. You have been everything I need you to be thank you. I love you and always will.

Busy Saturday :)

Today is a working day around our house. For Mothers Day we are building a small deck for our grill and just other little things. Everyone was so excited to start on this project. We are almost there with finishing the deck.

Another project we are working on is, our garden. We are trying to plant in our garden all the veggies that kids like. We haven't started yet, but we will soon. Hopefully we will get it done today. It has been so hot today. So we are trying to get alot of things done. Hope your Saturday is as good as ours.

Prayer request

The embassy has given us an exit appt. for this Tuesday 5/8. Please join us in prayer tonight. We have been waiting for this date so long. Tomorow we are hoping to hear good news. Kids we are coming for you really soon.

Bike Riding

Today I had a chance to go bike riding along the Potomac River that is near where we live. We went to see this beautiful waterfall. It was so pretty. It did take us 14 miles in all together to get there, but it was worth it. God did created a beautiful earth!

Flower Trip

Yesterday my Mom went to Lancaster,PA to get some flowers and vegetables. Every year she tries to go there. This year she was able to go there and get many flowers.I took some pictures so you all can just see the flowers that she got. They are so pretty and colorful. Mom you picked pretty flowers, good job!
